It has been my joy and privilege to partner with families for almost 20 years doing birth work. First as a doula, serving parents as they navigated the peaks and valleys of pregnancy, the transformative power of birth and those early weeks of caring for their newborn. Now as a midwife, adding the elevated knowledge and clinical insight to this sacred work.

On my journey to become a midwife I accomplished my clinical hours primarily at Austin Area Birthing Center, as well as an apprenticeship in a home birth practice. I had the privilege of learning from so many varieties of midwives including certified professional midwives (CPM), certified nurse midwives (CNM) as well as midwives trained all over Europe. I really believe this well rounded and balanced example of midwifery has molded and shaped me into the midwife I am today. One who uses both traditional non-allopathic remedies as well as modern, research backed science to serve my clients needs best.

I am a Nationally Board Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) through NARM (North American Registry of Midwives) and Licensed Midwife (LM) in the state of Texas. I maintain certification with the American Heart Association in BLS and CPR for healthcare professionals (AHA BLS), and the American Heart Association and American Academy of Pediatrics in neonatal resuscitation (AHA/AAP NRP). Midwifery is a life-long career of learning and continuing education courses (CEUs) are not only required for our profession, but something I greatly enjoy doing.

I live in Cedar Park, Texas with my incredible husband who is a stay-at-home-dad and homeschool teacher to our three delicious kiddos. Family hikes, cozy evenings and a good card game are just a few of our favorite things.
